Gentle pleasant sound

My husbands brush makes a very loud and harsh noise which put me off getting an electric toothbrush. But my new Suri toothbrush makes a very gentle pleasant sound - a bit like a buzzing bee! It cleans well too.

What put me of a little bit is the weight of the brush plus travel case. That is going to add quite a bit to my luggage compared to my old manual toothbrush with a flimsy plastic case. I guess part of the weight comes from that nifty function of the UV light cleaning - and I do love that!

Maybe also good to know for anybody comparing brushes: With the Suri you are still meant to make circling movements, probably because the head is very small and narrow and you need the circling to cover the teeth from top to bottom. So you can't just slide it along like some of the bigger electric brushes.

Incredible clean

I could feel a massive difference in how clean my teeth were from the very first use, so much so that I couldn't stop talking about it! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I'm still so impressed by how effective it is, while still being gentle on my sensitive gums. Looks very sleek in the bathroom and the magnetic wall mount is a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this product, you just need to try it once to be converted

How long does the battery last?

4 hours of charging will give the brush 40 days before needing a recharge.

Does the brush head rotate?

Our brush uses sonic cleaning technology and has a high vibration (33,000 per minute) to create an effect called “fluid dynamics” which lifts plaque off your teeth. The technologies are different and recommended by different dentists worldwide - both highly effective and neither superior to the other.

Is there a pressure sensor?

We don't have a visible pressure warning but have two speed modes and medium/soft bristles for an effective gentle clean.

What does the travel case do?

It contains a UV-C light which kills 99.9% of harmful bacteria in just one minute. And it will also charge your brush when it's plugged in.

Is the head compostable?

Our head is made out of sustainably sourced cornstarch and the bristles castor oil. There are a few steps needed to compost our head, see more on our recycling page. We also offer a pre-paid return mailer (for the UK/US) to make returning your heads to us easy, we do this as they can be recycled up to 6 times (or upcycled into different products).

Does the brush have a timer/notifications?

Our brush has a dentist-recommended 2-minute timer. Gentle haptic feedback every 30 seconds (the vibrations pause for a split-second) let you know when to move on to the next quarter of your mouth.

The brush automatically turns off after 2 minutes. Want to brush for a little longer? Just restart the brush and switch it off when you’re ready, using the on/off button.
